Late Mid-Century modern sculpture by Native American Creek tribe artist,Retha Walden Gambaro,1917-2003.
Beautiful patinated Bronze sculpture of a seated woman holding a rabbit.We believe piece is titled "Bunny" and is dated 1983 with incised signature on undersideof bronze. We are pretty certain it is also numbered 1/18.Mounted on a circular two-part walnut swivel base stand with felted bottom and sculpturewould be removed from the base for shipping purposes.Dimensions of this fine collectible sculpture is 15" H x 12" W x 10" D. VERY HEAVY PIECE.Condition of this very fine collector piece is excellent.Will include original purchase receipt from the Six Directions Gallery in Taos, New Mexicofrom 1993 with paid price of $$2,160 reduced from $2400.
