This is a lovely specimen consisting of a group of clear to white QUARTZ crystals on masses of small light pink crystals of RHODOCHROSITE on the massive material with some minor sphalerite inclusions from the Pachapaqui Mining District, Bolognesi Province, Ancash Department, Peru. The specimen is 3.5 by 3.2 by 2.7cms in size or about 1.40 by 1.28 by 1.08 inches and weighs 44.7 grams.
