A great looking piece of 1880s era Brookfield telegraph glass. Light aqua with milky and steamy veils and swirls in the glass, two piece mold CD 134 Brookfield with the Jan 25th, 1870 patent date on the rear dome. Front dome is W. BROOKFIELD (arc) / 45 Cliff St (barely legible). You must either base-light this or display it in a sunny window with a dark background to enjoy this at its best. Has a 1/2\" lip edge chip seen in image 1, a thin, triple match head sized flake on the upper lip seen in images 3 and 11, a single dome top fleabite, and a single BB ding on the dome side just above the upper lip seen in images 3, 8 and 11.
