Lambrou Classic Pens Paul Rossi LR1-LR5 Fountain Pen Set
The Classic Pens LR1 Eagle Chief fountain pen, made by Paul Rossi on the black Parker Duofold Centennial. Paul Rossi put together some of his earlier silver filigree work, including a Native American warrior with one feather, to demonstrate what type of work he could do for Classic Pens, Inc.
With the LR1, Paul showcases, on the barrel, a Native American Chief with full feather head dress. The eagle, a Paul favorite, is depicted in flight, on the cap, with the full sun in the background. Hence the title Eagle Chief
The Classic Pens LR2 Harvest fountain pen, made by Paul Rossi on the Parker Duofold Centennial in Jasper Red. The sterling silver overlay is based on an original watercolor of wheat, grapevines, and morning glory flowers reminiscent of harvest time on the island Cyprus.
The Classic Pens LR3 Woodland Oak fountain pen, made by Paul Rossi on the Parker Duofold Centennial in Jade Green. The artwork evokes American Oak, with a design of leaves and acorns.
The Classic Pens LR4 Muse fountain pen, made by Paul Rossi on the Parker Duofold Centennial in Jasper Red. Paul created the Muse of Sculpture, and showcases the exquisite detail of the Muse's head, in particular her hair.
The Classic Pens LR5 Alaska fountain pen, made by Paul Rossi on the Parker Duofold Centennial in Lapis Blue. The sterling silver overlay work depicts a lake and forest scene with mountains in the background. It showcases a family of eagles with the male, on the cap, in flight in a blue sky and shining sun. The female, on the barrel, is perched on a tree branch, near the nest with 2 eaglets.
The 5 silver filigree designs LR1-LR5 were launched at the Los Angeles Pen Show February, 2001.
