Is This The Only Daguerreotype Of President William Henry Harrison?:
Two early 1840s quarter plate daguerreotypes (in half plate cases) of a gentleman and lady who look suspiciously like President William Henry Harrison and his wife Anna. He was only in office for 31 days before he died of pneumonia, in April of 1841. There are no known photographs of him, but this image looks very much like oil paintings of him. The nose and ears look nearly identical. There are two years between when the daguerreotype was invented and when he died, so it might be him.
The second photograph is of a woman who is resembles his wife, Anna Harrison. There are also no photographs of her, but as you can see from the snap of google images, there is a very close resemblance as well.
Please look at the photos and draw your own conclusions.
