Henry Mountain petrified wood end cut comes from the Jurassic layers in southern Utah near Lake Powell. The intense colors are prized by collectors and this piece exhibits dramatic color contrasts with lots of carnelian red with accents that includes pink, orange, tan, black and white pigments. The polished surface is 3.5 in. x 3.5 in. with a mirror finish. The sides and bottom are natural and the weight of this specimen is 12.0 oz and would be an nice cabinet piece for your collection.
