I am finally ready to sell something I have been told by a person at the FORD MUSEUM this collection is PRICELESS, yet I am putting a starting offer price on it with NO is a 2 page HAND WRITTEN in pencil speech delivered by HENRY FORD promoting the one millionth refrigerator made by GENERAL ELECTRIC.
Here is what you get...This came from the estate of LOIS EMINGER who was the curator and archivist for HENRY FORD.This collection is the ORIGINAL file folder from FORD with "GENERAL ELECTRIC RE: presenting the millionth General Electric Refrigerator to Mr. Ford. It also has the General Electric script on the front. Included is a type written "SCRIPT" of what Mr. FORD was going to say in accepting the refrigerator and then some cards with notes on the back that is written in pencil that is the HAND WRITING OF MR. HENRY FORD. There are TWO PAGES OF THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ther are two cards that are the typed script and two copies of what he was going to say which matches the hand written notes in pencil. There are two ORIGINAL photographs of WALTER JOHNSON from the WASHINGTON SENATORS. Those alone are worth a bunch. There is a typed written letter from the President of G.E. GERARD SWOPE. There is a newspaper article with full pictures and well as two posters that are folded and never used that were in this PERSONAL FILE OF MR. HENRY FORD. His writing and notes are in several places.
