Vintage Emma Bridgewater cup and saucer from the "Utility" collection. Made of fine earthenware, the "Utility" line was first introduced in 1998 and then discontinued around 2007. This particular piece is from 1999. The words "saucer" and "small teacup" are in a dark blue, NOT black.There is some crazing on a section of the saucer which is perhaps to be expected of a vintage piece and can be seen in the last 2 photos. I'm not seeing any crazing on the cup or the underside of the saucer. No stains inside the cup. The glaze is bright and brilliant and there is NO fading of the design. No chips or nicks. This piece is a wonderful addition to any Emma Bridgewater collection.
