DDR NVA East German Officers Uniforms - 3 jackets, 4 pants, raincoat, cap etc:
This is a lot of East German officers uniforms in various conditions, mostly good, from the 1960s through the 1980s. It includes:1. Officer’s white-piped “field” uniform (it has the stitched metallic thread collar tabs versus the metal ones and has no litzen on the cuffs). This has white-piped boards for an infantry major and is a large size m56. It is in great shape. It appears to have been made in 1972 (I B).2. Officer’s white-piped uniform, no collar tabs (unissued). This is also in good shape and has boards attached for a Stasi lieutenant. It is a size k52 and was also made in 1972 (I/B)3. Officer’s early style sidecap / overseas cap with fold-down side flaps (the later ones were permanently stitched) – I can send you a photo of this detail if you want. It is a smaller size 56 and appear to have been made in 1967.4. Officer’s raincoat with matching belt. This is in fairly good condition, but the interior rubber liner is deteriorating a little bit and is a bit sticky in some areas. Otherwise this is in almost unissued condition. It is a larger size g56 (tall) and was made in 1983 (C/I)5. Pair of officer’s white-piped straight-legged uniform pants. These are in decent shape and show a little bit of wear. They are a size k44 and were issued in 1976 (R/I) – they’re the bottom one in the photo of the markings on the 3 pants together.6. 1st Pair of officer’s “jodhpurs” / breeches. These are apparently unissued, still having an orange paper depot tag attached to them. Both the tag and the markings inside show these to be a size k52-2, so for a short, slightly “wider” person. I’m not exactly sure when they were issued, the numbers are as hard to read on the nylon pocket as they are in the photo – they’re the second from the top in the photo of the markings on the 3 pants together6. 2nd Pair of officer’s “jodhpurs” / breeches. These are apparently unissued, still having a green paper depot tag attached to them. Both the tag and the markings inside show these to be a size g52 (gross=tall). I’m not exactly sure when they were issued since, again, the numbers are as hard to read on the nylon pocket as they are in the photo– they’re the ones on the top in the photo of the markings on the 3 pants together.7. An older matching pair of officers field tunic and trousers from the 1960s. This whole uniform is of a much heavier wool-like fabric (most probably synthetic – this is the DDR). The jacket was made in 1967 and is marked with a TGL number instead of NVA, the pants were made in 1965 and also has no NVA markings (I can email photos of the markings). Unfortunately, both have serious moth damage and stains to parts: dark-collar jacket has moth tracking to the front of the right sleeve and right shoulder (which is eaten through to the lining), as well as holes in the back of the jacket and left sleeve. The pants are more stained than moth eaten, mostly in the crotch. PLEASE NOTE: I BOUGHT THESE YEARS AGO IN THIS CONDITION, NONE OF IT OCCURRED IN MY POSESSION AND THERE IS NO EVIDENCE OF MOTHS OR THEIR EGGS CURRENTLY ON EITHER OF THESE.8. Finally, there are 7 military shirts included in this lot, 4 grey (all size 39N with silver buttons) and 3 white (39N with silver buttons, 42L with gold buttons, and 45N with gold buttons). The white shirts with gold buttons were apparently for higher-ranking officers. I have several more pictures of these items if you require more detail, please feel free to email me.The shipping price quoted is ONLY FOR SHIPPING WITHIN THE U.S. USING PARCEL POST - This is an approximately 22lb box that measures 20x16x11, which is why the cost is so high.
