Collection of Cornwall OS Maps for Researching Tin & Copper mines & minerals For Sale
Collection of Cornwall OS Maps for Researching Tin & Copper mines & minerals:
You are invited to buy a collection of digital copies of Ordnance Survey maps for Cornwall. This collection contains over 700 different maps at a scale of 24 inch to the mile. Most of the maps are dated 1906 -9 but some are from a later issue of early 1930\'s. The complete set for Cornwall should contain about 1,100 maps so I need to make it clear there are gaps. This collection contains large areas with complete coverage. The maps have been professionally scanned at 300dpi and when loaded on your computer you can zoom in and see minute detail. Please see my recent response from very happy buyers.Areas include the Lands End district, St. Ives, Camborne, Redruth, St. Day, Gwennap, Helston, St Michael\'s Mount, Penzance, Falmouth, St. Austell, Par, Phoenix area, Kit Hill, Hingston Down, Gunnislake, Bude, Stratton and much much more. If you want to research Cornish Mining and Mineral sites this is ideal for you. Also ideal for locating standing stones, stone circles, castles, and hill forts. To use these maps you will need Adobe Reader which is free off the internet. The maps can also be copied across into Photoshop and you can then edit and print off extracts. If you have a copy shop nearby, it should be possible to take in a memory stick and then get them to print you off large paper copies of each complete map. The original maps are AO size and in my collection. If you would like a sample map email me a request and indicate whether you are interested in mines, quarries, hill forts or industrial archaeology. Please check carefully that this is the item for you. As with all digital media there are no returns. The complete file is too large to send attached to an email so will be posted to you on a dvd.
