COLLECTION OF VINTAGE PROTESTANT PRAYER BOOKS & RELIGIOUS PAMPHLETS:
$9.00
Lot of nine prayer books and study guides from protestant and Lutheran sources. These books came from my mother\'s estate; she was the sole owner.1. Abridged Treasury of Prayers, hard bound, original owner\'s name and address in ink on inside cover. Concordia, St. Louis, 1947. The pages were edged in gold, and some of that still remains. Binding is very loose, but the pages are all still there.2. The Lutheran Prayerbook, staple binding, paperback. Woodbury, MN. 1994. Staining on a few of the pages. Staple binding is good.3. A Pocket Prayer Book, leather or leather-like binding, soft cover. The Upper Room 1950. Binding is still holding together well. Original owner\'s name and address in ink on inside cover, but later covered with a name and address sticker (same person now with married name and different address)4. Bible Memory Helps. Paperback.1934 C.R. Gibson and Company.Staple binding is good. Nice color art on the cover and also inside. No publisher or date given, but judging by the art and the fifth book in this sale (which is similar), I\'m guessing 1930s.5. Memory Bible Helps, paperback with staple binding, C.R. Gibson and Company,1934, color art is nice inside and on the cover.6. Books of the Bible card. H.P. Co., Milwaukee, No. 201. No date. Card is yellowed.7. The Books of the Bible card. C.R. Gibson. No date, but with an ISBN 0-8378-4935-7, the oldest it could be is probably 1970.8. The Upper Room Prayers for Courage - Words of Faith for Difficult Times. not vintage. This is an extra issue from May-June 2003. Nice condition.9. A Year with the Bible. 1982 Westminster Press. Staple binding. Small stain on the cover; otherwise clean. Thanks for looking; please offer.
