DETAILED information given on the backside. PHOTOGRAPH MEASURES 4 x 5 1/8 inches, including margins. CONDITION: good -- the text on backside (see second image) was typewritten directly on the photo, and all periods have pressed into the card so that on the facing side are tiny granular size bumps, not visible in the scanned photograph. They are noticeable when you slant the photo in just a way; althoug not overwhelming the photograph, selling as-is.Any visible scratches are from the scanner bed, not in the photo(s).

SUBJECT: Geological slump
PHOTOGRAPH: Geological slump along Otter Creek. About 1200 Lin ft. of bank subsided 20'30 feet vertically. Width varies up to 300 ft. Vertical displacement coincidental with upheaval in and near river. Subsidence probably cause by saturated and unstable clay layer upon which area rests.
