This is a Virgil Dee Tye ( TYE TYE ) Bakersfield, California Crafted Bowie Knife with a 7 3/4" clip point blade. The handle appears to be bone with an eagle head carved in it while the guard and pommel are of Sterling Silver. The sheath is not original to the knife but fits well. Virgil past away in 2006 the knife was made 1976, This is a very nice, custom made knife that will be shipped with the accompanied sheath (see pix as they are a large part of the description).
