ANTIQUE HAND COLORED VICTORIAN WOMAN GIRL ROSES GARDEN FLOWER BOTANICAL PRINT:

Authentic antique folio photogravure print dating to 1903 as published by the Salon de Paris. Print was published in the year 1903 by this publisher in a limited edition of 200 prints. Print is hand colored and each print would have been individually hand colored ( none would be exactly the same ). I have studied this print under strong magnification and ascertained thewatercolor is original to the time of the photogravure print and print was published as shown. The colors are bright, gorgeous and intricately applied. Condition is very good and clean for the age showing a normal slight age patina and a faint slight "ghost" impression on bottom blank margin edge from a previous tissue protector which is no longer attached. Print is full plate and blank on back. Blank margins are as shown in second sale image. Overall size is approximately 8.5 by 12.5 inches with image sizebeing approximately 5 1/8 by 7.25 inches.

Print is not titled but is known as "Portrait of Madame Helene Chauvin and her Daughter." Artist is A. Faivre.
