Beautiful large antique cut glass / crystal lidded / hinged dresser jar with sterling silver mounts made by Gorham.
Weighs approximately2 pounds, 5 ounces by itself. Weight includes entire object not just sterling content.
Both top and bottom collars are marked STERLING.
The bottom collar also includes the Gorham maker's mark and S2118.
Light surface wear as seen in pictures.
Hinge functions properly. Lid and base do not fit tightly together and small gap is evident.
Original patina has not been cleaned.
Fine scratches to crystal mostly on bottom.
Does not include any original packaging.
