Scare and rare print, but NOT one of a kind. Limited edition but no number.

Authentic antique folio photogravure print on paper, dating to 1901,as published by the Salon of Paris. Printing process is high quality photogravure on high quality antique paper ( probably vellum as there is NO foxing whatsoever and vellum paper has a high iron content, which prevents foxing ) Condition is good to very good ( image is in very nice clean condition and utmost blank right margin edge shows many paper nicks / frays, as shown in sale image, and clean for a print of this age, with a few minor slight imperfections in blank margins, a slight age patina and a tiny paper fray / nick on utmost right blank margin edge. . The original tissue protector is attached to the left edge of print and print is full plate. A nice plate impression is seen around the image. Blank margins are approximately as shown. Print is blank on back ( aside from one small faint light stamp ) and blank margins are full.Print is from an incomplete antique art folio book. Please there is a very small NOT embossed, faint library stamp on back of print, which does NOT detract from value at all, and actually adds provenance to print.This stamps is light, small and harmless with no depreciation whatsoever to print because of library stamp. Overall size is approximately 8.25 by 12.5 inches with image sizebeing approximately 5 1/8 by 6 10/16 inches.
