Antique U.S. Mail box from 1924, painted a bright red and blue with white lettering on front and sides (not original paint 1924; repaint by US Post Office at an unknown date). Has one of the original “Hours of Collection” paper from the Post Office. The box also displays a label with the manufacturing date on the front of the box (see pictures). The box comes with its original pole mount for hanging. Made by Danville Stove MFG Co. Danville, PA. It measures Height- 20 1/4 inches, Width- 13 1/4 inches, and Depth 9 1/4 inches and the box weighs 60 pounds.
The brass front on the box is missing 5 of 6 of the screws. Slight color missing on the top of front door. (see pictures for all flaws)
