This is a fantastic Civil War Letter written by Albert Reynolds of Company H 93RD Pa Volunteer Infantry at Camp Mary January 20th 1862,he would later be killed at the battle of 7 Pines in Virginia.He says in the letter the he just received a present from those I left behind in old Danville.He talks about Lieut. Eckman fetched more money to Danville than she had seen for the last 6 months,we received 40 rounds of cartridges but I did not get any on account of not having any gun as the lock on mine was good for nothing.4 page letter all in ink and fully signed A Reynolds.
