Description:
Original 1932 invoice issued by A.B. Simmons, a Goldsmith & Silversmith located at 80 Sandgate Road, Folkestone. The invoice, dated December 31, 1932, is addressed to Col. A. Atkinson and details the following service:

  • Restoring the inside of a pewter bowl, carried out on December 12th.

A.B. Simmons, established by E. Bumpus Pain and in business for over 50 years at the time, specialized in the repair and trade of high-class English and foreign watches, as well as new and second-hand diamond goods. This piece reflects the quality craftsmanship and bespoke service of early 20th-century silversmithing.

Condition Report:
The document shows light creasing and a single hole punch in the upper left corner. Handwritten receipt note dated 29-8-33 and signature are visible. Overall very clean and well-preserved for its age. See photos for condition.
