A rare original poster published on linen in 1917/1918 reading as follows:\"You Promised Mother a Letter, WriteIt Now\"This was part of a large collection of memorabilia gathered by Herman G. Glued to the notice are hand-written clippings from letters, mainly from Mum - one says \"and if you get a chance, shoot a couple of \"Huns\" in the pants for me\". Another note states that the poster came from the YMCA in Tours. On the reverse are glued a series of photos, postcards (Dad has marked his office in Pittsburgh) , Madame Fanny\'s business card and a hat pin with heart motif (top right)
