ARTIFACT:This is a great circa 1890\'s GAR (Grand Army of the Republic) Captain Henry Post No. 97 parade ribbon for the Goodwill Fire Company No. 1 of Belvidere, New Jersey. The cream ribbon has wonderful (left-facing) graphics of a horse-drawn steam fire engine and is embroidered in gold metallic thread.
VINTAGE:Circa 1890\'s.
SIZE:Approximately 7” in height and 2-1/2” in width.
CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS:Silk, metallic thread.

CONDITION:6+ (Fine-Very Fine): The ribbon is has some moderate wear and areas of light staining to the reverse.
