GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY! General Cilley fought hard in many battles! Wounded severally in Virginia at the battle of Shenadoah valley! He handwrote this letter in 1875! He has signed writing here in vintage brown ink. I am sure you will read his bio here. In what places he fought in the Civil War! The letter actually speaks of what he did after he left the war. Became the Adjutant General. Also being severally wounded twice it expains here in his hand. It is though he is trying. To fill a higher postion in life here. Writing to Hon. Stephen O. Brown.
