This is a wonderful, original document, dated 1692, though docketed 1704 on the back, is a case where John Johnson of Monmouth, New Jersey lent some money to DavidVilant of Piscataqua, New York and was not paid on the date of obligation....the case was won byParoculus Parmyter,...so Johnson has taken Vilant to the New York Mayor\'s court for collection....signed at bottom byParoculus Parmyter as attorney..docketed Johnson vs. Vilant...Apr. 1704 on back. Document is 8x12, older repairs on back, else in overall good condition.Paroculus Parmiter(c. 1673-c. ... Paroculus Parmiter, originally an attorney at law at Bristol, England, was condemned to death at Bristolfor forging documents and thereby cheating a widow woman out of 300 pounds.
