Generally speaking most Presidential administrations produce less than 24 pairs of solid gold Presidential cufflinks per four year term, considering the fact that most 14kt versions are presented to Heads of State it is very rare to find a set being offered for saleI would say that this pair is probably one of 50 ever made. The cufflinks are in very good condition, stamped 14kt on both the back of the Presidential Seal and the cufflink attachment. Packaged in the original presentation box with a brass plate engraved with" with best wishes Lyndon B Johnson" The inner upper portion of the box bears the Presidential Seal. The cufflinks measure 15mm indiameter. I have no idea as to the gold weight I don't have ajewlery scale.
