1/1200/1/1250 Imperial Japanese Navy Light Cruiser \"Yubari\" during 1942. Only one Yubari was built, being an experimental design. Built as a training ship ,when World War Two began she was pressed into service as a first line unit. The Yubari was really the first modern looking Japanese cruiser. All further Light and heavy cruisers were designed with her features.. Commissioned on July 23rd 1923, displaced 4,075 tons. She was 455 feet long with a beam of 39.6 feet. Armed with 6 x 5.5 \" ,1 x 3\" guns and 8 X 24\" Torpedo tubes and 34 Mines. The ship could make 35.3 knots. She is painted in Japanese Dark Gray with Red Brown Linoleum decks and Red Waterline.On April 27th 1944 off the Island of Palau the US Submarine Bluegill SS-242, torpedoed and sank the Cruiser
