Vermont's Covered Bridges

Town Lattice with added arch plus two Kingposts with Howe-type metal rod verticals, 276' overall span across West River adjacent to Route 30, 1.5 miles west of Townshend Village. Concrete pier added 1980-81. At 166', the Town section is the longest single span in Vermont.

A State Historic Site since 1955.
